James Douglas Supports Local Charity Ty Hafan
We are happy to announce that this year we will be extending our charity partnership with Ty Hafan!
There’s nothing quite like the excitement of having your very own home. But what if home for you wasn’t the house in which you live but somewhere else? Somewhere that love resides, where memories are created and laughter never ends. For many life-limited children and their families across Wales, home is Ty Hafan.
Since acquiring Nuttall Parker, we have joined in their efforts to support Ty Hafan by contributing £50 from every house sale fee made in Newport which had now surpassed an amazing £12,000!
The extension of the partnership will now mean that £20 from every house sale fee, across all three James Douglas locations in Newport, Cardiff and Pontypridd will be donated to Tŷ Hafan.
For the past two years, as well as donations from house sales, staff at the Newport location have undertaken various fundraising activities in-branch, along with running the Cardiff Half Marathon and braving the hot coals of a Firewalk.
The extended partnership will not only help to generate further funds but engage staff and customers across South Wales.

Over the years we have seen how various fundraising efforts can make a huge impact on the hospice and the families and children it creates vital support for. No family should have to face the unimaginable loss of their child alone. The funds raised by James Douglas will help Tŷ Hafan to provide specialist care and support to those that need us most.”
